Michelle has an extensive background in training, particularly within the construction industry. Over the past 13 years, she has specialized in delivering training on estimating, job costing, and accounting using Databuild. With an accounting background from her early career at a chartered accounting firm, Michelle was later headhunted by a software company specializing in tax accounting software. When that company was acquired by MYOB, she transitioned into their team but eventually decided to move into consulting. Michelle quickly became highly sought after in the building industry, leading Databuild to invite her to run their training courses in 2013. While maintaining a strong relationship with Databuild, she independently runs her own training company, Gavcon Ltd, alongside her business partner Gavin Thiele.
